the year is 2026. after what seemed like endless months of snow, winter is coming to an end in grimm, and spring is just around the corner. you know what that means - get your umbrellas ready, 'cause it's going to start raining. a lot. the winter chill is melting off, and slowly but surely, the days are beginning to seem longer. everything is coming back to life after a rather harsh winter, and everything (and everyone, for that matter) gets a chance at a fresh start.

TOWN SQUARE ah town square. it's got cobbled roads, and a giant fountain in the middle of it. the town surrounds it, and generally this is where people meet one another to talk or something. there's always someone in here. the only time it's ever empty is when something is terribly terribly wrong.

THE CASTLE rather monstrously huge and white, the castle is not a place a commoner wants to end up. because if you do, you've generally done something wrong or something to piss off the royals. they all live up here on their pretty little high horse. very few commoners have seen the castle and lived to tell the tale.

THE RIVER this river cuts through most towns...because civilization? needs water to survive. anyways. the traveling augurs tend to use boat as their transportation, so they're very familiar with the river. it's wide and rather rough in some parts. don't try to navigate it on your own. it's dangerous.

THE MOUNTAINS the mountains are tall and rather cold all year round. there are caves up there, that some witches tend to gather in when they aren't holding up in their large houses in the towns, anyway. mostly, people who live up are here are much wilder than the townies.

BELLALUNA LAKE the largest body of water in grimm, this lake is huge. and deep, if you really wanted to know. down in the depths there are mermaids, and if you're lucky enough, they'll come up and visit you. they don't generally like to though. they're quiet, shy creatures. the lake itself is almost always a deep blue-green sort of color.

GRIMM FOREST as most of grimm is actually a forest, this is a pretty crucial thing to have. the edges of the forest are generally nice and bright and cheery, but if you go too far in, well let's just say the enchanted forests of old? yeah, they're more fact than you think. don't get lost, or the faeries will get you.

THE BEACH now if you're looking for some real r&r, heading to the coastline of grimm would be your best bet. the pleasant ocean breeze, getting sand stuck in your toes, and quite the beautiful view come sunrise. though the coast is its busiest come summer, anytime is always a good time for a stroll along the beach. just pay mind to the shells in the sand. some of those buggers can be awfully sharp.

THE OTHER PLACE well not everyone has the good fortune to just show up in nyc, magically. pretty much everyone originally lived somewhere else, right? this is the forum you'll use in case you want to backscene, futurescene, or just scene any of the things that took place in those elsewheres.
